Areas of Expertise

Sampling & Monitoring
All Ridgeline Response dispatch locations are fully equipped with a variety of specialized field screening meters and sampling equipment/materials for a wide variety of contaminants in soil, water, and air.
-
Wildlife Management & Mitigation
Our technical experts will determine the wildlife management requirements based on your site. This may include aquatics and habitat assessments, deploying wildlife deterrents, or wildlife rescue efforts.
-
Vegetation Health Assessments
Our qualified environmental professionals can determine the best action to restore vegetation to its initial state. Additional vegetation assessments may be done during long-term monitoring efforts.
Shoreline Cleanup Assessment Techniques (SCAT)
SCAT is the systematic approach to surveying, collecting, and documenting data onshore conditions during a spill response. SCAT provides crucial field data on the location, degree, and character of shoreline oiling, including shoreline habitats, oil type, degree of shoreline contamination, spill-specific physical processes, and ecological and cultural resource issues.
Using this data, our technical experts can develop a spill response plan to best match your spill response needs.
Experience with Regulators
Ridgeline’s technical professionals have worked closely with numerous provincial and federal regulators for spills located in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and Northwest Territories.
Ridgeline’s management team has worked closely on many projects throughout the years and has developed a strong rapport that has allowed for open dialogue and collaboration with the applicable regulatory agencies.
